RLadies Ribeirão Preto

GROUP

It is a chapter of RLadies Global, a non-profit organization that operates in 65 countries. There are currently 16 active chapters in Brazil, eight in the southeast, four in the northeast, two in the south and two in the center-west. Our mission is to promote the use of the R language among underrepresented groups for a more diverse and inclusive community. They offer free courses for people of all levels of proficiency in the language.

The Research Group on Genetics, Genomics, Evolution, Ecology, and Conservation of Carnivores (based at the School of Health and Life Sciences at PUCRS) conducts studies across various areas of evolutionary biology and conservation biology, with a primary focus on mammals of the order Carnivora.

SuperNano

GROUP

The “SuperNano” research group is focused on the study and development of nanomaterials and surface chemistry. The group's mission is to investigate the synthesis and application of these materials in areas such as sensors, catalysts and other advanced devices. The research aims to exploit the unique properties of nanomaterials to innovate in technologies that have an impact on different sectors, including energy and the environment. The group works in an interdisciplinary way, collaborating with other institutions to expand knowledge in the area of nanoscience.
