Edvaldo Marques de Araújo
AMBASSADOR
Edvaldo holds a degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF) and is a master’s student in Psychology at the same institution. In his master’s research, he investigates the validity and reliability of a procedure based on Relational Frame Theory for measuring implicit attitudes. His academic interests include behavior analysis, reproducibility and replications, methodology, and data analysis. As a BrRN Ambassador, his goals include supporting the dissemination of open science within Brazil’s behavior analysis community through training activities with behavioral journal editors and the creation of educational materials.

Hector Gabriel Corrale de Matos
AMBASSADOR
Hector is a speech-language pathologist and is currently pursuing his master’s degree at USP. He works as a researcher at the Center for Audiological Research, focusing on artificial intelligence and health literacy in hearing, exploring open collaborative knowledge ecosystems. He is an active member of Wikimedia Brazil and organizes initiatives such as the WikiProject Hearing Health and WikiProject Brazil Schools. He participates in WikiProject Reference Verification and WikiProject Medicine. Hector coordinates educational activities, campaigns, and open courses within Wikimedia projects. He is also the coordinator of the Computational Audiology Network and a representative in the Make Listening Safe Workstream of the World Hearing Forum (World Health Organization).

João Miguel Neri Camilo Moreira
AMBASSADOR
João is a biologist with a master’s degree in Ecology and works in animal ecology, environmental and science education, citizen science, and bioacoustics. He is part of the coordination team of the Toninhas do Brasil project (Univille) and of the Environmental Education Working Group of Hydrographic Region 06 (GTEA RH 06). Within the BrRN, João seeks to promote training on reproducibility, build bridges between the partner institutions of his project and the Network, and contribute to ongoing initiatives.

Gustavo Aires de Arruda
AMBASSADOR
Gustavo holds a degree in Physical Education from the State University of Londrina (UEL). He is currently a professor at the School of Physical Education of the University of Pernambuco (ESEF/UPE), where he coordinates extension activities aimed at scientific dissemination in health. He is also a faculty member in the Joint Graduate Program in Physical Education UPE/UFPB. Gustavo serves on editorial boards and acts as a scientific reviewer for several journals. His research focuses on physical activity and health in childhood and adolescence. As a BrRN Ambassador, he aims to strengthen a culture of transparency and promote scientific reproducibility through events, meetings, and campaigns, fostering dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the adoption of best practices in research.

Isis Paiva Trajano
AMBASSADOR
PhD student in Sciences at the Physiology Program at FMRP-USP. She works in the areas of human physiology and neurosciences, with an emphasis on systemic inflammation, neuroinflammation and thermoregulation. She is carrying out research into the open access policies of Brazilian universities and a project to automate techniques in animal experimentation. She is active in the postgraduate student movement and is interested in the discussion, dissemination and popularization of science.

Juliana Soares Lima
AMBASSADOR
Juliana is a librarian, mother, researcher, and open science enthusiast. She holds a master’s degree in Information Science from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). She currently coordinates the UFC Journals Portal (PPUFC). As an ambassador, she aims to promote events and workshops on Open Science, Research Data Management, and Reproducibility, as well as to carry out other initiatives that enhance the quality of scientific research and these topics.
